Aveline: perfectly at home in C-Sec, dealing with the refugees. Like she does. I imagine she and Bailey would butt heads as often as agree, but secretly he loves her to bits.
Anders: unstable L2 rebel biotic, wanted by just about everyone and stirring up shit just about everywhere.
Merrill: quarian on her pilgrimage, going goggle-eyed over EVERYTHING. Don’t let her loose in the Citadel without a tour guide. And possibly a leash.
Varric: notorious volus storyteller/writer/overall media personality. You know it.

Humor me; add your own. :)
Depending on how the Ending DLC is handled along with the subsequent press releases from the company, I could easily swear myself off Bioware. They fucked up, and despite their arrogance/denial/resistance to change, they know they messed up. If they do right by the free DLC, I’ll give them another chance. If they spit in our eyes yet again, there are plenty of other games/developers that will get my hard earned money. They need to prove to me that they learned from this, not that they were haughty through it all. Unfortunately, it’s already a bad sign to me that they are emphasizing that the DLC does not fix the ending, but merely adds “closure”… but we’ll see.
Bioware is no longer the untouchable dev. At the bare minimum I will no longer be a first-day buyer of their games… most likely I will wait at least a couple weeks to make sure whatever next game they make has satisfied the majority.
^^^^^^^
More to the point, they abused my emotional investment and trust. Yes, their stories and characters are wonderful, but what’s the point of getting really hung up on characters that no matter how hard you try, only have misery and death to look forward to in the end? That was also my problem (among others) with DA2. Yeah, great characters, but they were trapped in a miserable parade of failures that sapped all the fun out of playing them. Then ME3 comes along, builds this wonderful story track, then simply… STOPS. No resolution, no closure, no reward for the hours of time, emotion and lets not forget actual money invested. Just total incoherence and complete loss of player agency.
They’ve proven they can effectively manipulate my emotions. Bully for them. The thing is, I have to decide to let them do so. Unless they can learn to deliver on their promises and properly pay off their story, then I’m not going to buy into it anymore. It simply isn’t worth the investment.

I honestly think this is the best profile on OKCupid. Hell, this is the best profile on the Citadel. (Cropped out everything except for the “Self Summary” to protect this person’s identity.)
#just wish this thing was interactive #DESCRIPTION OF IT SAID THAT IT FOLLOWED YOU AROUND ON THE NORMANDY #even more false advertising on bioware’s part #they ALSO said that there was a quest involving it at one point #which is also a lie #but still #this photoset is great #and I love this thing #and I wish I could have projected more of a personality onto it #but alas I couldn’t #because it did nothing #at all
“I think varren are cute”
I got so excited when I found out Urz could follow you around. :D
